出光興産の子会社であるアポロリンク社の新規事業で、キャンピングカーのレンタルと販売の店舗である。
vantnerとは、van（＝車）とpartner（＝パートナー）を組み合わせた造語である。「Freedom　自由気ままに」「Me time　自分（達）だけの時間を」「Simplicity　手軽に気軽にシンプル」をサービスのコンセプトとしており、キャンピングカーをより身近に楽しんでほしいという想いが込められている。従来のレンタカーショップの機能に加え、アウトドアギアのレンタルから宿泊地の予約まで一括して行っており、アウトドアギアやロードトリップをテーマとした本、地図を壁面に設え、車との体験をアドバイスしやすくなるようにカウンターの配置や形を決めた。また、その旅をどのようにしていくか、スタッフとお客様がより深くプランの相談や旅の体験を共有することができるスペースを設けており、これからの計画にインスピレーションを与えることができる空間としている。

Vantner is a new business venture of Apollo-Link, a subsidiary of Idemitsu Kosan that provides campervan rental and sales services. We designed the store that will serve as its base. Vantner is a coined word combining “van” and “partner.” The concept of the service is “Freedom,” “Me time,” and “Simplicity,” and it reflects their desire to make campervans more accessible and enjoyable. In addition to the functions of a conventional car rental store, the shop offers everything from camping gear rentals to reservations for places to stay, so maps and books featuring road trips were placed on the walls, and the layout and shape of the counter was determined to make it easier for staff to give cusomers advice on the campervan experience. In addition, there is space for staff and customers to discuss their travel plans and share more about their travel experiences, which will inspire future trips.
