決済代行サービスを提供するスマートチェックアウト社のオフィス。
人員の増加、複数ある拠点を1つに統合しコミュニケーションを活性化させたいという背景からオフィス移転を計画。 仕事と遊びを融合させたような空間という要望から、空間全体をWORKゾーンとPLAYゾーンの二つに分け、天井色や床の仕上げを変えることで緩やかな境界を設けた。 また、固定概念にとらわれない働き方を推進すべく、固定席の他にもフレキシブルかつスタッフ同士がコミュニケーションを取りやすいようカフェカウンターや躯体柱の周囲にベンチを造作するなど、様々な働くシーンをデザインした。

An office relocation project for Smart Checkout, a payment processing service provider. The design was prompted by the need to consolidate multiple locations into a single hub to accommodate a growing workforce and revitalize internal communication. Guided by the client’s vision of “hybridizing work and play,” we divided the entire floor into two distinct zones—Work and Play—delineating them through contrasting ceiling colors and floor finishes. To promote a flexible working style that transcends conventional norms, we designed a variety of settings beyond traditional fixed desks. These include a cafe counter and custom-built benches encircling structural columns, creating an environment where staff can naturally connect and collaborate. By designing these diverse “working scenes,” we aimed to foster an office culture that encourages spontaneous communication and creative synergy.
