House in Ikenoue

A renovation of an apartment in Ikenoue, Setagaya. To allow natural light entering from one side of the living area to reach the entrance and staircase, we created an opening at the top of the living area partition and fitted it with a glass sliding door. The design also preserves the building’s original sloped concrete ceiling, effectively maximizing the ceiling height and spatial volume within the living space.
