SNARK publishes an annual portfolio compiling the projects completed each year.
To mark the release of the 2024 edition, we curated an exhibition showcasing all the projects completed during that year. The exhibition was laid out in two distinct areas, designed to respond to the unique spatial characteristics of “diff,” an alternative space in Maebashi.In the first space, photographs of the completed projects were exhibited in order of scale on a 14.5-meter-long continuous roll of paper suspended from the ceiling. In the inner space, drawings screen-printed directly onto the walls were presented alongside thirty 1/100-scale 3D-printed models, treated with equal importance. A level laser positioned in the center projected lines to indicate the sectional planes of the models, creating an immersive environment where visitors could peer inside to physically perceive the relationship between the floor plans and spatial scales of each project.The exhibition, which engaged the entire staff from fabrication to daily operation, successfully served as a bridge to cultivate new relationships with visitors and the local community
